Going Green
When it comes to giving back and finding creative ways to protect the island’s ecological integrity Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort is making huge strides.
One of the homeowners, Dr. Peter Swann, has painstakingly created an infrastructure for the island where all homes must use solar water heating systems, have cisterns on the roof to collect water for irrigating gardens and sewage water is purified for plant irrigation.
These are just a few of Jumby’s Green Initiatives.
