Talk about a restaurant with a view! Wow! You can practically wiggle your toes in the sand when you’re eating here.
This photo shows Jumby Bay’s Veranda restaurant that’s right on the beach and it’s my favorite choice for a casual breakfast or lunch and it also serves a great dinner. Classy but still casual, there’s a full menu to order from featuring healthy dishes inspired by fresh local ingredients that’s a fusion of Caribbean and European cuisine. If you come at night you can dine under romantic tiki torches and if you stop by from 3:30 to 5:00p.m., you can enjoy High Tea service daily.
For an always elegant dining experience you can head over to the historic Estate House, Jumby Bay’s signature restaurant for dinner set in a 230-year old Colonial plantation manor. White tablecloths, candlelight and romantic music set the scene for a dining experience you won’t forget!
You can also dine at the Estate House Bar, the Verandah Bar or even the fun, laid back Beach Bar, where you can sip signature cocktails to your heart’s content. If you’re looking for a truly private dining experience in-room dining is always available 24-hours day and for the ultra-romantic experience sign up early for a private beach dinner where you have your own private wait staff.
Still, probably my favorite dining experience at Jumby Bay is the weekly “White Night” dinners where guests are encouraged to wear all white and tables are actually set up on the beach. Featuring more fresh seafood options than you can ever imagine this is one night that’s truly special.
ALSO…I hear rumblings about some big news coming out about Jumby Bay. I’m checking with some of the local and will have the full story tomorrow, and from what I understand this is one announcement you don’t want to miss! Exciting stuff, so stay tuned!
