Jumby Bay Resort’s Director of Tennis, Jerry Williams, is one of those tennis pros who’s not only extremely talented but he’s also a genuinely great guy who is fun to learn from and he’s standing by at Jumby Bay to help teach you how to take your game to the next level.

  Not is Jerry a seasoned pro, he  played several years in the Davis Cup and currently coaches Antigua’s National Junior Team .Jerry has also played some of the world’s top pros including, Chanda Rubin, Mary Pierce and Steffi Graf, all who have been guests at Jumby Bay. 

Jerry has been at Jumby Bay almost twenty years and many repeat guests have fallen under the spell of his charm and award-winning tennis skills and come back year after year looking forward to playing a few sets with the champion.

Although he doesn’t like to talk about it Jerry battled and beat stomach cancer about a year ago. Between rounds of chemotherapy, Jerry would still hit the court and says he never gave up the game he loves so much because in many ways it kept him going during the roughest times. He doesn’t like to talk about the cancer because he says there are more important things to focus on including finding new way to give back, to help the next generation of tennis players.
